Saving...
Nov. 23, 1942. Pueblo, Colorado Dear Dad & Mom: Worked again last night from 6 till eight this morning. We've had another engine that has been bothering, couldnt keep up a high enough oil pressure. We'd tried everything so finally decided it was worn bearings so started an engine change last night at twelve. I worked till morning on it as the other crew was short handed got a long real well considering the night was so cold. We are moving from this camp to a warmer climate soon. Dont worry it's still in the U. S. A. and not Texas thank heavens It is someplace Ive been before in the army tho and has a wonderful winter climate so you can figure out where it is. This is of course if rumor has it correctly. I must get some stripes and sew them on my sleeves if you dont wear them the squadron can take them from you. Our supply didnt have any on hand and I havent been over to the P.X. nor to town. Havent had them
