Nov. 22, 1942 Pueblo, Colorado Dear Dad & Mom: Just came from the show, an "Abbott & Costello" one I didn't think it so very funny but lots of the fellow seemed to enjoy it. There is a good one coming Tuesday I shall see it is "Gentleman Jim" about the prize fighter Jim Corbitt. The weather is warming somewhat but is still rather cold as we are working nights this week I notice the cold more than daytimes. Got your letter with the clippings in it, especially got a kick out of the G. I. barber one thats about the case too. Havent got my box of candy yet that will be fine I like that kind. Hope the cookies get here by Thanksgiving that will be almost like having dinner at home. I still hear from Charles [Haeppel?] who lived over close to my farm. He is now in Tucson and is also in a B-24 squadron. He went thru Henry Fords school at Ipsylanti Mich or however you spell it. He doesnt have a rating yet but I think he will get along fine as he is a good
