[letterhead: United States Army Air Base, Pueblo, Colorado] Mother I cant think of anything I'd rather have for Christmas than a sweater if you want to knit one for me. It would have to be O. D. color, I think Id like a sleeveless one with a V neck I have a heavy one with sleeves that was issued to me so I'd like a lighter sleeveless one. The pile that was lumber near camp here just aint no more all there is left are cardboard boxes and straw & other packing materials. I think the thing that disgusts me most about being in the army is guys like Jack Severin making $100 a week, it's that way all over too, Im glad to do my share but why pay such guys outlandish wages, Im sure there are more efficient fellows in my squadron who have just as many dependents and reasons for not being in the army. A couple of smart guys down town the other night
