Saving...
Dec. 3, 1942 Tucson, Arizona Dear Dad & Mom: Im just loafing around this afternoon doing nothing. This morning I had to help unload more boxes and helped get some planes ready to fly. Ours wont fly for at least a week as it is being re-rigged, having new control cables and pulleys installed. The weather here is warm today but the wind is blowing and it is so cloudy however I dont believe it will rain. This country doesnt look as tho it had been rained on since I left in July. Our barracks are not built for cold weather so I hope it doesnt get cold. The flies are buzzing around in here as I write this letter it seemed funny to hear of show in Iowa. I got 2 letters from you, 1 from Mrs. Waterbury, a card from Ki and a letter from Uncle Raymond yesterday they had been flown down from Pueblo. Expect a few more will come there and I'll get them soon, hope so anyway.
