Saving...
I sent a letter air mail yesterday see how much it beats this one home. Hope you got my wire this morning. I was going to send it straight wire but they wanted almost 2 bucks that way so I sent it night letter. Our barracks are screened and have screen doors which aren't on yet. They have storm porches which I expect were okay for winter. Don't know when I'll get any mail as it is always mixed up and slow after a mane. I hope it isn't too long. They are waxing the hangar floor and treating it with something to refuel grease. One of the guys in our barracks has bought a puppy which is a general handy man, does add [illegible] all over the place. It is a cute little pup but this is no place for a dog. It howled last night. It's time for dinner so I'll quit. Love, Johnny
