Saving...
was, a regular thriller and I enjoyed it especially in that we won. Last night the water was cold when I went to take a shower so I missed it, guess Ill go over & take one pretty quick. Ill have so much planned I wont get any sleep in. We are losing one of our planes to-morrow it is being transferred to another squadron which is forming at Boise. Our old line chief who was crowded out by an old army man is going over there to be line chief There are two decided [factions?] the old army and the new army and believe me I'm never going to be old army. May wear a hash mark before I get out but Im not staying long after the duration. Most of the fellows were issued sheep skin suits today but just my luck they didnt have any big enough for little John. I really dont need them anyhow and they are a nuisance to carry about. I hope we stay here for the summer and I expect we [illegible]. I can make good train connections home from here when my furlough time comes, it is only twenty hours to Omaha so that wont be bad. I should be home this summer some time because i should get a furlough without waiting as long as I did the first time. Will quit for now. Love Johnny
