Saving...
as well know it. Making Tech Sergeant had nothing to do with it, it is a Second Bomb Wing order and as long as you have a base it's do as he says. Mother if your birthday present doesnt get there in time dont mind as I just havent had a change to get anything yet. Havent forgotten tho and I want to send something it wont be much What happened to [Torson?] and the harness shop couldnt Mrs. Torson keep him at it? Even tho you didnt get much variety of news I'll bet you heard a lot of Ray & Virgil. Cant see what caused my letters to pile up so. Ive been writing almost every day, there will be a lapse the two days I was in California. Surely enjoyed that trip but was sorry to leave Nelly. our new ship is in pretty good shape. Thats Graydum is a cutup does he ever tell you of this experiences in the army I think he was a cook. We dont get meat as often as we could too and sometimes the butter runs short, home fries at least once a week, sometimes its good. quite oftern we have ground meat as hamburgers dont know but strongly suspect it may have pulled a wagon once. There are a lot of jokes, hollaring whoa and saying they hate to eat the saddle too etc. But we fare pretty good. You pick up the darndest people, the little [Union boy?]. does Mrs. [Vrampson?] still call on you? I should think Ray B. would be right in line. Love Johnny
