Saving...
The contrast is surely very sharp between the country north of the river and that where we are now. This has been the center of the storm for so long that the land is not tilled or any thing kept in shape. As I look out a partly destroyed building with the lights all gone stares me in the face. I do not know how much can be accomplished in three months but it certainly looks to me as though they had a big job cut out for them. When one thinks of the contrast between here and the States it is no wonder that the people should give from their plenty to these destitute people. Well dear I must close and go walking around and warm up. Hoping you are thinking of me as often as I am of you Yours with Love Walter. Dear Helen. This is a good morning for a sleigh ride here.
