Saving...
well but it soon clotted over and isnt even sore. I was luckier than on of the other fellows who did the same thing a week ago. he cut a two inch gash and had to have some stitches taken. The group inspector went over the Farm 4 1 B's we have to keep on our planes yesterday and on his report he put in that mine was in very good condition neat and well kept. It was the only one he said that about so I felt pretty good. I try and take pains with it but it is easy to make mistakes on. I guess I wont have to use my ship for school any more. One of the other squadrons has to do this for a few days, take turns I guess. Got my ship back in flying status again today had to replace a great box that was broken and a cable. A ship really takes a beating. With a whole gang working the mechanism and cranking [illegible] it. Got a picture today Gamer Hays took of a bunch of us. They were going on a squadron party and I had just come off the line. I dont have it with me tonight but will send it tomorrow. most of them are my old buddies who are in another squadron now.
