Saving...
Dear Dad & Mom: This has been another bad day, no flying it looked favorable this morning and we pre flighted the planes but before they got up it was raining and the wind blowing again. It was this way all day it would clear a short time & we would get started at some sort of work and then it would rain again. Had to change two tires and it took us most all day, we would hand them and [in?] the ramp and it would rain then we'd take them back inside the tent. This process was repeated three times. The day room was to cramped to get into tonight so I'm writing this sitting on my footlocker with my paper on my knees so I don't guess this will be legible. Will put in that picture tonight, it shows how deep the dust is and the operations building. Wish I was still with this gang as they are all good guys. The bunch I'm with are good fellows too but I've known the others longer. Thats the army tho when you get to know a bunch well you are split up.
