Saving...
May 23, 1943 Pocatello, Idaho Dear Dad & Mom: Please excuse how this writing is going to look 'm writing it in bed. Feel a little under the weather this afternoon like I was catching a cold or something went to bed right after noon, slept some and feel better now. Im doped with Vicks so will be okay. I got your package from the drug store. thank you very much it should help. I got some lip stuff similar to that which Ive used up and my lips arent chapped any more. Today my airplane was sent over to Sacramento to have a new tail assembly put on it I could have gone along had I felt better but I sent my assistant crew chief instead. He should enjoy the trip I know I did when I went. Dont know whether Ill get it back or not but rather hope so as we had it up in pretty good shape only one more engine to change and they are all new ones.
