must be like Dr. Darnall, says he is a regular horse doctor but knows his stuff. Missed hearing the Fitch Band Wagon tonight as well as the other Sunday eve. programs, but I will hear it next Sunday perhaps. I meant to send Jim a birthday card but forgot it until today. Will perhaps write him a letter [illegible] It was raining when I came in but now the sun is shining even tho it is nine oclock. the days surely stay light along time under Rossevelt time. Didn't think the planes would fly long but I guess the weather has cleared now. We built a fire in the barracks which feels good. Must stop and shower and turn in. Love Johnny
