Saving...
Dear Dad + Mom: Well it happened today, from the first I figured it was the too good to be true that I was actually getting a furlough. A notice was first up today that instead of four months it would now be six months before we were eligible for furlough. It makes me so mad, they didn't worry about us waiting a year for our first one. I will not be home for my birthday. Also the time is counted from when I returned from the last one so it will be the 25th of July when I am eligible. No fighting today as it rained until about four P.M. but then it cleared and they are fighting now. Should be a nice day tomorrow sun is still shinning brightly. Maybe we do get a [shell?] of nice weather for a change. Believe I'll send my drivers license home and you can try and have it renewed for me. I think they will do that at the sheriffs office if htey don't just hang on to it for me, don't need it much where I am now. Will send home a money order soon too. I have more money than I need if I don't come home this month.
