99 By the blessings of God, by his spirit; He has enabled me to have a clear conviction that should he take me away, I would be with Him. Not because I am good, or righteous; But because I have a savior, an all sufficent Savior, who is able to save even the chief of sinneres unto the utmost, not as a reward of my merit; But an act of pure bounty, Having bought us at so dear a rate, as the sacrificeof his son, & made us so free & general a promise of pardon, & grace, & everlasting life; we should consider the great value of what he offers; & the necessity of obtaining it, will we or not believe the God that made us, & the Savior that bought us?
