116 A good hint to mothers} send your little child to bed happy whatever cares press, give it a warm good nights kiss as it goes to its pillow. the memory of this, in stormy years which fate may have in store for the little one, will be like Bethlehems star to the bewildered shepherds. On the death of a child: And Jesus has said & his promise is true, they are only lent, not given; suffer little children to come unto me, For such is the kingdom of heaven; May our children prove a blessing an& cheer us with outward comfort, & with the affluence of filial affection and respect; No one can, be truly degraded, except by themselves; B.
