118 May all to you most near & dear, Bring to each, all earthly blessings; Kind friends, truthworthy & sincere, Beyond the power of words expressings. Then here's mv heart & here's my love, Yet though we part, we're parting never; Though days & years in absence rove. There's naught save death, true hearts can sever. Hope in the future Back ye tears! I will not grieve! - In that home I'll meet them, And sweet welcomes I'll receive As I fondly greet them. There we'll have no tearful partings, Home will ne'er be far away: O, my heart is filled with longings To behold that happy day. Men are like words: when not properly placed they lose their value.
