125 Unloved unloved; unloved; how carelessly we speak the words that blanch the crimson from the cheek while the lips quiver, & the pulses start they brand the letters on the throbing heart ah; fate, how cruel; ah; fate, how kind; to raise the veil from eyes that were so blind. what heart would not lifes best allurements spurn if faithful love ne'er met with a return Habitual resistance, to every little temptation, is next to prayer, the most efficacious aid, against, the allurements of vice, & evry species of dereliction from duty & integrity.
