Saving...
July 23, 1943 Pacatillo, Idaho Dear Dad, Mom + Grandma: Again Ive had a busy siege, two engines to change, one supercharger and a 50 hr inspection all in one package Have worked about day and night but now have her flying again, seems as tho things always pile up that way or happen unexpectedly. Kind of think the engines were the pilots fault but perhaps not. Anyway they are changed now. Has rained, just poured down, both yesterday and today and very warm between showers. Guess we're having our summer season now, was too hot this afternoon to work on the wings of the plane. Have been getting your letters regularly even tho I havent been answering them so well. There has been an abnormal amount of engine changes lately and they are sending in oil + gas samples to be tested as a possible cause.
