Saving...
from the cleaners and sewed the buttons on the blouse. They were kind of loose so I removed them before the cleaners lost 'em. Got some heavy linen thread form the parachute department which should hold fine. Did something foolish yesterday agreed to try out for the football team go to the first practice tonight. Ill see how it goes for a few nights I know how stiff Ill be but I should try and get in condition. Have quite a schedule lined up play two Utah Universities, a couple in Idaho and two nearby army camps. Im afraid the competition will be too stiff for me as its been so long since I played. Got a letter from [Plegg?] and a note from Arlene today and one from you. Boy your a good one telling me not to fly etc. and in the next breath saying someday you were going to take an airplane trip. Ill bet when I get out of here you cant drag me near an airplane. I expect Ill miss them tho, if the truth is known. These B-24's are great airplanes tho and doing a good job
