guarantee. Oh yes I know that was the letter I forgot to mail for a couple of days. I got two from you yesterday & one today. You must have had some hanky [wash?] the neighbor would have thought you had a dreadful cold I remember how nice the weather was at Sioux City but didnt remember it was just a year ago. That was one of the nicest experiences Ive had since I've been in the army. Just the relaxation of being away for a day or so is worth a whole lot. So Bob has gone again, he is really getting a lot of travel isnt he. I think I almost envy him sometimes but know it isnt all roses. Dont expect he got my letter before he left. Im sorry to hear about Mrs. Langs death, what a shame she couldnt have reached home. Wanda really has two big boys, they should make real farmers, bet that pleased Ernie. The wind is coming up again I can hear it howling outside the day room where Im writing, maybe my ship wont come in form Reno tonight, so often they are grounded because of bad weather especially if they (crew) like the town where they happen to be. Our football schedule is kind of mixed up we dont have a game this week end, just a practice scrimmage between ourselves. Our coach tried to get us games with the University
