would thrill with the happiest emotions it ever experienced were it so, that you were coming. But not for one moment would I dissuade you from doing your duty. I dare not counsel you in any way for I do not know, Pray over it Weaver & be willing to be guided by Providence. My feelings say come & so does my judgment as far as I am capable of judging, but you know best, & what is honorable & becoming a Christian, & I know you will be guided in the right way. I fear that diarrhea, so far South & in so much excitement & it may be to preserve your health for future usefulness that you ought to come home. I am anxious about your health but I pray that as long as you are in the Army you may not be put into a hospital.
