Camp Mills May 9, 1919 Dear Mother, He who waits shall have longer to stay, I forget how it goes but its something like that. At any rate our time came at last, and we'll be on our way to Chicago at 12 bells to night. If we are not mustared out with in a short while after we reach Camp Grant, this part of the American Army may not be present at the mustering. Im feeling fine. in fact I cant remember when I ever did feel quite so good. You have never said whither we've mooved or not. I know part of
