Dec. 26, 1943 Pocatello Idaho Dear Dad & Mom: Christmas has come and gone another one in the Army, hope I dont spend another one in it. But I got lots of remembrances, most of which Ive eaten cookies & candy. Thanks a heap for the bond, just today got your letter telling me about it. They are mighty fine to have, someday maybe it will go toward that saddle horse I'm planning on or something else I especially want. Got a box of cookies from Adeline today, very nice ones too, a letter from Bob, (thats two I owe him), a card & note from Uncle Raymond, also got back a letter I had sent to Milan on Dec. 12, wonder if he has moved again, yesterday I got a box of cookies from Mrs Hay. Sure hope Dad's cold is better that's one thing a fellow doesnt need for Christmas I know he'll have good care tho, perhaps even
