Saving...
but I hope I'm not put in that class. I've met some who [illegible] will make good [illegible.] We take all obstacle courses right with the men + swim also each day - so we shouldnt be so [illegible]. It has rained a lot here + we been cold + unpleasant + so we would be just as well of [illegible]. Whats this [illegible] show a [illegible] building? We have enough buildings in Washington now - its [illegible] one can do to [illegible] what we have. If they make a bigger gym floor it would be much cheaper to enlarge the Y gym + put [illegible] south of the floor, rather than build a new building. It would be foolish to build another building just as a memorial. A white elephant is a glum memorial. if its for men in service + for that purpose alone - forget it - as far as [illegible]. A real efficient + used Y is a better memorial [illegible] it builds better boys. I have just heard rumors about this + don't know the real situation so give me the guff or gaff. Hello to Mabel + the gang Sincerely Ed [Lt (jg) Ed Morrison, Jr.] Family first but too cold to swim + the boys are guests [illegible] out.
