Saving...
here to look at and ice cream & cokes. We hardly ever miss a day in the ice cream & coke line - if we can help it. Carbonated water too. Did I say line - they've got a line for everything in the navy from soup to nuts. I suppose, after returning to civilian status - I will feel quite natural if I ever have to get in one of those long movie lines like they used to have. Anyway- I'm not stationed here - just waiting. I hope they send me somewhere else. I've got a while yet to go before I can start looking to come back. Wherever I go, I hope they have some kind of a musical outfit. I blew my trombone a little down in Samoa with a lousy outfit - but I've played with all kinds - & music is still music to my ears. If you've never seen a really cute picture of a baby (heh heh) get a load of the one Helen has of Stevie. I just received one in the mail & I guess I have reason to be proud. So long for now Dave, & keep the Scuttlebutt coming. I'll catch up with me eventually & I'll notify you when there is any further changes in address. Sincerely, Don
