We then landed and moved on inland. As we got in a ways we began getting hit by snipers all along. They say that it was a lot like some of the jungle war fare here as there was snipers all over. They were in trees, houses, hedge rows along the roads and they didn't hesitate in letting you know that they were there. We were on the move for the first few days that we were here and got know sleep at all so you can see how tired we were all getting. One night we were holding a line and me and another radio operator were laying on a outpost. They were putting machine gun fire just over us all night. We. page II
