laid there and counted the minutes. We held our own fine as it sure would have given our own positions away. The Germans are using a lot of wooden nosed bullets, which they use in rifle fire. The first morning we were on a mission we captured three German prisoners. It was hard not to shoot them but they seen us coming down the road and gave up to easy. They were awful [young?]. Well Dave if I could tell you everything I could write for a long time but I had better quit for this time. Will send you a few more lines later. As ever, Forrest Mitchell page III
