Estherville & I was taking cross country there. Also so sorry about Eugene Dunlap being wounded. Surely hope he wasn't hurt too badly. This is quite a nice camp. The chow isn't bad & they don't work you too hard so Im really content to spend the next 6 months here. Of course being an incurable optimist I'm hoping that the war in Europe will be over before then & then let a few old guy like myself who are nudging 38, go home. (I can dream, can't I?) Say what house was that, that Bob McFarland bought? Will have to have a chapter of the Y's men out of So. Iowa, which I agree with you heartly is the
