U. S. Naval Air Station
St. Simons Island, Georgia
April 20, 1944
Dear Dave: 
You know without my writing that I think your swell for sending me the scandal sheet - Its fascinating reading- and has the scuttlebut we never have any other way - Its great- Keep it coming. Looks like they want me to stay on for some more school for another month. (or [illegible] sitting) altho we are getting into some rather advance stuff. -super secret- & tough on my terrible brain. We have lose about 1/2  the class already. Weather fine (a little ice) (especially sat nites) much pleasure on occasion - but none with cards so far. The kids are brown Indians - & Eddy caught three fish & Tommy one (at Sunday school time last Sunday) and jumped at the breakers on the beach Sunday afternoon. I've gained 10 lbs & this job isn't half as hard as it was or at home when I was trying to do too many things. Next time I'll know enough to enjoy my family more. Sincerely Ed [Ed Morrison]
