cadet, and naturally there is a certain amount of pride to be able to walk into the instructors room as one of the boys instead of meekly knocking on the door for permission to enter the room and then go in trembling to report with knocking knees to the squadron commander for some minor infraction on the rules and regulations. We have two instructors for every 8 students; one teach instruments or blind flying, the other the transition work or in other words the flying not involving instruments. I am doing the transition work. Each day I work with 4 men while the other 4 are on instruments and then the following day we exchange students. I can't say I have much interest to write you at present, but after a few weeks of instructing
