Buckingham Army Air Field Ft. Myers, Fla. May, 14, 1944 Dear Dave: Again I say I'm sorry for being so slow about answering your last two welcome & enjoyable ScuttleButts. But it's just like any G.I. would use for an excuse is that I've been so D--- busy I just couldn't get around to it. I only owe 12 letters now. I have hopes of getting caught up in the future. I write three & four a nite & get three or four a day so you see it's no use. Before I forget it. You keep mentioning to notify you of any change of address. Well I moved to the next door bks. and received a little additional address. I'm still in the same sqd. and all and have been getting your letters & the papers
