May 29, 1944 Hello Dave: I received your swell Scuttlebutt #9 today. I also have unanswered #8 in front of me so will make this a double answer as usual. This is going to be a poor excuse of a letter Dave as I'm doing some pinching now to get some many overdue letters answered. The reason is that another break has came my way. I am shipping out on D.S. to Electronic Supercharger school at Minneapolis Minn. Am to leave this Friday. I was submitted on the order last April but had given up getting to go. Also
