4 Oct. 44 Dear Dave & Rest Am sending you a few lines to let you know that I am getting along swell. I am back at the American School Center working here where I was over a year ago. I haven't gotten mail for a month now but I know you and everyone has been writing to me. The reason I haven't gotten it is because I have been moved around so much. How is everything coming along back home. Was talking to some fellows in the hospital that left from home in the cavalry unit and they said they got hit pretty hard also. They told me
