Halstead, Kansas 10-10-44 Dear Mr. Elder, I have received my 27th & 28th Drip of Scuttlebutt and I want you to know that I'm very greatfull to you for it. You see eventhough my home is in Washington I only know a few people outside of relatives there & by the time I get home I will have some ideas of who's who & where who has been when we all meet some day in Washington. I visited there with mother & daddy a couple of weeks last summer & perhaps I met you or your wife at that time, however I donot recall having met either of you so will get it all cleared up on my next trip home. I shall notify you when my address changes. Thanks Heeps. Greatfully Yours, Cadet Helen B. Galloway
