Oct. 14, 44 Dear Dave, I was evacuated from Holland about ten days ago and am really glad to be back in England. I caught a piece of schrapnel through the jaw. It also knocked out a couple of teeth. Am feeling fine and should be out in a couple of weeks. Found two boys here from Washington the first two I have seen over here in the E.T.O.
