about. I've had a hard time convincing my Texas roommate that we grow real corn in Iowa but the picture in your letter today should do the trick. Am flying B-24's now and like them pretty well as far as the big jobs go but would like a B-25 or A-20. Once you get in these your stuck so the "corn bird" will have to be my plane from here on out. May get up your way some day but don't worry about the smoke stack or the Court House Steeple, my instructor will be along. Hope to get home in a month or so for a few days and then on to one of the Air Forces. Keep "Scuttlebutt" coming and thanks a million. Sincerely, Lt. Robert F.
