Saving...
Naval Air Station Seattle Box A Oct. 24, 1944 Dear Dave, Arrived in the good old U.S.A. a few days ago, and brother is it good to be back. I was stationed in the Hawaiian Aera during my 18 mo. overseas. Met a lot of fellows from the old home town out there. Les Woods Ph. m. 1/c is in the dispencery (working - not sick) on Ford island which is in Pearl Harbor. Dr. Mast & Joe Simmering are in the Hospital at Aiea where Margaret Kelly is a nurse. Don Morrison passed through there while I was still out there, but as fate would have it I didn't get to see him. He is now in the Marshal Islands on an L.C.T. As for myself I was in the Naval Air Corps over there flying in P.V.'s Veaga Venturas - (Wow! my spelling) - (so solly) - Any how I like the Air corps fine and don't think there is any better duty in the Navy.
