How is the old town of Washington getting along? I suppose the Election is becoming the big topic of discussion. Its one of the minor things over here. Our big topic is demobilization. And believe you me its sure talked over among the fellows. We sure hear all versions of this point system they are going to us in letting us out, or what ever the case my be. How is that foot ball team of ours doing back there? The boys started out purty good on there first three games. I was a little disappointed in the outcome of there fourth game. I hope they won there game with Fairfield. Well Dave I guess I had better close for this time its about time for me to go out and stand my shift on guard. I sure hate to think of going out there in the cold. Well I must quit for this time. I’ll try & do better hereafter. Your friend Eddie [Pfc. Edward J. Prebel, Jr.]
