Service School U.S. Naval Training Center Great Lakes, Illinois November 21-44 Dear Sir: Received my 34th drip today and as always was glad to hear all the news from the old home town. I met a few days ago an old student of Washington High School. Bob Plum who lived there until about 1938 when he moved to Rock Island where we saw each other quite often as I was there too after 1940. He will finish boot camp and be on this side of the camp about Dec. 4. I'll get his address and send it to you then. I'm sure he will like very much to recieve your newsy letters. I am in Basic Engineering school here now and will finish the course about the first of the year. My address has of course been changed and is now a little different.
