Dear Sister I take my pen in hand to drop you a few lines in answer to your letter which was dated June the 3rd. You was wishing me Joy well it was all right but I would like to had you out here they goin for marrying out here they was four wedding here they 4th of this month and there will be some more soon John Stephenson is a going to marry shortly and my brother George will allso I am a going to build my house next week then come over and you may done all night if you want to and if you don't you may spark my brother Mark Goolsby and if he dont suit you you can find plenty of others but they are all soldiers I want you to tell John Field the he need not act the shit about writing I dont care if he dont want to write he need not tell harmon to go to [Kno..?] and sign for me a paper and sent it out here and when our Broad [illegible] gets started I will send him it and tell him to write as soon as you get this so no more at present but remain your Brother & Sister till death.
