am afraid they will beat some of the county officers I want you to let me know how the county went as soon as you can for I will be uneasy till I hear We are still here yet but we dont know how long we will stay the report is we leave in the morning for Memphis to join our corp I give you this as I got it it I think it needs confirmation I dont suppose there is a man in the Brigade know when nor where we are going but from the appearance of things we will leave here before long We have drawed marching rations & we may go & we may not go if we do go I will let you know our destination as soon as possible Well I want to know how them copperheads behaved there at the election if they done as they used to do collect around in small squads to look like
