ordered out at ten o'clock. We are in 8 miles of Corinth our men had a little fight the other day and took some prisoners. You may look out for hot work here at this fight and before you get this it will be over, the victory will be ours or theirs. I saw Mike yesterday he is in Co I 31st Ohio. He is well and looks fine better than i ever saw him. We have orders to have 40 rounds of cartridges two tents to a co and be ready to march at 1 o'clock. i will close and get ready.
