V-MAIL PASSED BY US ARMY EXAMINER (CENSORS STAMP) From M/Sgt John W Graham 464 Bomb Grp 776 Bomb Sqdn A.P.O. 9564 c/o Postmaster New York, New York To Mr & Mrs W J Graham West Union, Iowa Dear Dad & Mom: I guess you've wondered about not hearing from me for so long but it just hasn't been possible to write. Even now I find it hard to know what to write, there are lots of things I'd like to say but cant as yet. I am feeling fine, have a good coat of tan and my usual good appetite (too good). Have done more reading lately than all the rest of the time I've been in this army nothing very outstanding, those small services editions that run mostly to detective mysteries. Have even learned to play dominoes, find it kind of fun, seems funny a guy would wait until he is grown up to learn a kids game. I am still on the boat but will get off soon, our food has been good and it has almost been a pleasure cruise. I am quite happy about the place I think Im going to end up at, think I'll be allowed to tell you where I am soon. Dont worry about me, everything is going fine. Love Johnny V-MAIL
