There is a radio going in the barracks with some [grusome?] detective drama going on. Expect you've got the same program on Pop it's kind of our type. It's a thriller all right. Got our pay all right today so I'm prosperous again, most every barracks has a big card game going on in it and by morning some will be richer and some wiser. Or rather they should be wiser but some of these dumb kids don't seem to learn, every squadron has a few real sharks and they get a lot of the guys money. My cold isn't doing so good but believe a little Vicks will fix me up all right. Just feel rough and [arnery?] not sick but irritable, guess it's the inactivity as much as anything. Will close for tonight Love Johnny
