Saving...
Our P.X. system has been set up now and we can get necessities. each man is issued a ration card on which is listed various items some like candy, cigarettes, etc. are allowed every week if available and other things from two to eight week intervals. Im glad I bought some extra soap etc for I'm pretty well fixed up. We now have a radio fixed up which we enjoy very much, get the news and some of the British stations broadcast some good American orchestra music. Then too there are a lot of symphonies and classical stuff that isn't so highly esteemed by the average G.I. (I'm average) Guess I'm run down so will sign off for today. Love Johnny
