Saving...
April 21, 1944 Italy Dead Dad & MomL Well I'm back in the [callar?] again today, pulling a hundred hour inspection, hoave lots to keep busy at and I guess that's always a good thing. Just had a shower which stopped me from working and gave me a chance to write this. Your V-mail letters seem tot make about eighteen days to reach me. I will experiment with both V. & air mail and see which is quickest. Have been wondering if I need a new address to write Bob at or if his old one will do. Golly he isn't crossing that old ocean isn't he? Sure glad Vivian & Dickey got to visit him. Had a letter yesterday from an old friend in my farmer outfit. He is in England someplace and quite well situated. I'm sure several of the other fellows are located quite near where I am and if I get a chance I'll look them up. Have kind of a line on Ralph Pixlers outfit and might possibly be able to see him sometime later on. Some of the fellows went to town the other evening, guess there isn't much there and they have to get in early. The Red Cross
