Saving...
Somewhere in Italy April 20, 1944 Dear Dad & Mom: Started a letter two days ago but didnt get it done so I'll try a fresh one. Have been busy with details the past few days and just havent found time or anything of interest to say. Worked today making a burner to heat water in for washing mess-kits. Wasn't such a hounding success either Im afraid. Have a good scheme for fixing one but didnt have the materials I needed. Im going to send out some laundry tomorrow, sure glad of it as most everything I have is dirty and Ive no place to wash them myself. Ive plenty of clothes which helps a lot. We are in a new location but in the vicinity of my first. Its not as nice but dont think will be here long. There are plans made for a service club, it will be very nice, labor is very cheap and it will be constructed of stone, tile runf etc. plastered
