meal. Yes, this is really alright. Oh for a Army carreer like this. Just who am I trying too kid. No carreer for me. Just lead me too good old civilian life. I was sure glad too hear that Ira Morrison was safe and not missing in action as the War Department reported him. Ira and I are great friend. I haven't heard from him since he first left England. That before he entered combat. We used too write quite regularly when he was still in the states. I'm still hoping he hasen't too bad a case of treanch foot. It can really be serious. I'm hopping I'll hear from him soon. My mail sure has been comming in terriably slow. I'm hoping all of the boys over here aren't having the same trouble. Just the other day I have received a few letters dated in November. So you can see what I mean. The Christmas cards are still comming in.
