Paris, France Feb 11, 1945 Dear Friends, This is Sgt. Allen P. Atkinson son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Atkinson, 503 So. 2nd. Ave; writing from Paris. I have been working with Engineer heavy equipment for the past twenty months of my over seas duty. You might be interested to know my younger brother Charles was in to see me thursday and friday of last week, first time I had seen him since Dec. 1942. Charles is in the front lines in the 5 inf. Marsh my older brother was in to see me wednesday and thursday of this week. He is in a cavalry Ren. Sq. has been in France from the start. I was lucky enough to get to see him when I was home in April 1943, I also saw him in England last March. Your letter to-day brought the first "Scuttlebutt"'s I have seen, was really great to read about the different one from home who are
