Orange City, Iowa, Aug. 6, 1918 Mrs. Cora Whitley Webster City, IA My dear Mrs. Whitely: - I have before me an undated letter from your office requesting the names of chairmen. Our county is divided into thirteen divisions each under a chairman, who has a chairman in each line working with her. The Division chairman appoints her own sub chairmen. So far we have felt it advisable to take up just four lines of work. We had a very enthusiastic meeting last Friday. You perhaps remember Mrs. Whitley, that there was some confusion about the appointment of both Mrs. Slagle of Alton and myself. We are co-operating constantly but Mrs. Slagle wished me to carry this work. Evidently Mrs. W.S. Slagle's name is still on the files for Chairman of Sioux Co. Woman's Committee C.N.D.
